Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026.
SetupMotion, based in Houston, Texas, USA ("we", "us"), runs this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect through setupmotion.com and our QR video manual pages, and how we use it. Contact: hello@setupmotion.com.
What we collect
- Contact and sample requests: the name, email address, company, product link, languages and message you enter in our form. We use them only to answer you and to prepare your sample or quote.
- Clients: the contact, billing and project details needed to deliver and invoice our work.
- Website and QR page statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, countries, devices and referring sites without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
- Payments: payments are handled by our payment provider (for example Stripe or PayPal). We do not see or store your full card details.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare (website hosting and statistics), our form provider Web3Forms (delivers form messages to our inbox), Google (email), and our payment provider. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes. Some of them are in the United States.
Why we may use it
To answer your request or perform a contract with you, and where the law allows it, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. If you are in the EU or UK, these are the legal bases we rely on.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't become projects: up to 24 months. Client and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop contacting you, at any time by email. Every marketing email we send includes a way to opt out. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law) you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal data.
QR video manual pages
Pages opened from a QR code on a product show a video guide. They do not ask for personal data unless the brand adds a link to its own warranty or support page; those pages are run by the brand under its own privacy policy.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
